Florence Ann Rowan, 76, of Duryea, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Paterson, NJ on January 14, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Gerald Hooey and Florence Anna Scott Hooey.
She was a graduate of Paterson High School. She retired from Luzerne County Offices of Human Services.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Rowan; and sister, Joann Della Pesca.
Surviving are her children, Jennifer Scull, Duryea; Pamela (Paul) Coveleski, Sweet Valley; Doug Rowan, Pittston; and Carolyn Santee, Harding; siblings, Diane Hotchkiss, CT; Roxanne Williams, TX; and Mark (Diane) Buckley, Pittston; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one arriving soon; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 5pm-8pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
