Frank G. Parente, Jr., 82 of Exeter passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at home.

Born in Pittston and raised in West Pittston, he was the son of the late Frank Parente, Sr. and Nellie Massara Parente.


Frank was a graduate of West Pittston High School, class of 1960 and Wilkes-Barre Business College. He spent his career as an accountant and office manager working at Pagnotti Enterprises, California Flower Company, Aureus, and Karibe, Inc.


Frank’s passions in life were music, playing his guitar; especially Elvis Presley and Willie Nelson, sports; he enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards, Pittston Area Softball, watching his Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Phillies, reading; his favorites were James Patterson and Danielle Steel, and his greatest joy in life was spending time with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.


Frank is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Ann Marie Salvaggio Parente, their children; daughters, Maria Fultz and husband Dave, Old Forge; Cynthia Malacari and husband Vito, Wilkes-Barre, and son, Frank Parante, West Wyoming, grandchildren; Joseph Malacari (Stephanie), Frank Malacari (Emily), Billy Nocera (Katelyn), Vito Malacari (Lindsay), Nico Nocera (Michelle), Jessica Parente and Lauren Parente, great-grandson, Santino Malacari, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.


A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 12:00 noon in Immaculate Conception Church, Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, PA. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:30AM until the time of mass in the church.


Private interment will be held in West Pittston Cemetery.


The family would like to thank Frank’s nurses and give a special thank you to his aides, Monique, Annamae, Amy, and Anna.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Corpus Christi Social Concerns or the West Pittston Library.


Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.

I just found out and was very saddened to hear of Frank’s passing. My sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will certainly miss him.
