Frank J. Ardo, 83, of Duryea, passed away Sunday morning December 7, 2025, at home.
Born in Pittston on March 12, 1942 he was the son of the late Dominick and Carmella Limongelli Ardo.

Frank attended Pittston High School and honorably served in the United States Army Reserves.
Affectionately known as Pop.
He was self-employed as owner and operator of Frank Ardo Trucking.
Frank enjoyed a good card game and he was an avid hunter. He loved teaching the next generations of Ardo’s how to hunt. His greatest joy in life was his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria Ardo and his sister, Virginia Ardo.
He his survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Marilyn Morock Ardo, his children; Dominick Ardo (Lisa), Old Forge, Frank Ardo (Crystel) Hughestown, Carolyn Beczek (Peter), Pittston, Debra Carey (Chris), Pittston, and step-children; Rebecca Belles, Duryea and Roxanne Youngblood (Bill), Wind Gap, PA, 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings; brother, Dominick “Juke” Ardo, Scranton, sister, Beatrice Girman (Bernie), Suscon, brothers-in-law; Frank Morock (Marilyn), Raleigh NC and James Morock, Taylor, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives, Friday, December 12, 2025, from 4-7PM at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday December 13, 2025 at 9:30AM in Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea, PA. Those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the church on Saturday morning.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Assumption Cemetery, Hughestown, PA.
The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care provided by Allied Services Hospice Care. Especially to nurses Ann, Karla, Joanie and aides Natalie, Dawn, Angela and Amanda along with Dr. Martin Moran.
