Gary S. Bradbury, 80, of Pittston, passed away Sunday January 29, 2023 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Robert and Lila Loder Bradbury.
Gary was a graduate of Scranton High School and worked for over 30 years at Acton Technologies, Pittston. Gary was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Thistle Lodge No. 512 and a member of Elm Park United Methodist Church, Scranton. As a homeowner and family man in Pittston for more than 50 years, he took great pride in the care and upkeep of his home and grounds and his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother Robert Bradbury.
Gary is survived by his wife Anne DelMonte Bradbury and son, Gary Bradbury and wife Gina, Ashburn VA. and daughter Melissa McNaught and husband Kurt, Grove City, PA. Gary was Papa to his four grandchildren; Alex and Grace Bradbury and Matthew and Andrew McNaught. Also surviving are his brother Dennis and his wife Pauline of Homestead, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of the progressive care unit of Geisinger Wyoming Valley for their excellent care and a special thanks to Dr. Jameson D. Woodard for his care and concern, not only for Gary, but for his family as well.
There will be no calling hours. A celebration of Gary’s life will be announced at a later date.
