Genevieve Mary Pascucci

Genevieve Mary Pascucci, 97, of Forty Fort, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.

Born in Swoyersville on January 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Butler Flaherty.

Genevieve graduated from Forty Fort High School.


She enjoyed sewing, golfing, and crafting, and was also an avid reader. Genevieve was famous for her corny one-liners that had everyone laughing and still quoting her to this day. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the former Holy Name of Jesus Church, Swoyersville.


Genevieve was a devoted wife, and mother, always putting her family first, and will truly be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Primo (Pat) Pascucci; son, Patrick (Butchie) Pascucci; sister, Margaret Flaherty Conner; sons-in-law, Francis (Manny) Senausky and Patrick

O’Malley; and sister-in-law, Norma Pascucci.

Surviving are her children, Sharon Senausky, Trucksville; Frank Pascucci and his wife Ruth, Wyoming; and Michele O’Malley Daly and her husband John Daly, Jenkins Township; grandchildren, Michael Senausky and his wife Megan; Sheree Senausky; Francesca Pascucci; Patrick O’Malley; Katie O’Malley; Sean Daly and Allison Daly; great-grandchild, McKenna Senausky; numerous nieces and nephews.


Genevieve developed a close friendship with the residents and employees at the Meadows Nursing Home.


She was loved by all and enjoyed following the staff around as they completed their daily tasks.

Thank you to the Meadows for taking such great care of her during her stay.


The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 9:30-10:30am in St. Francis Cabrini Parish, 585 Mt Olivet Road, Wyoming. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30am. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
