George Patrick McAdarra, Sr., 78, of Exeter, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on May 29, 1943, he was the son of the late John and Rachel Davis McAdarra.
George attended Wilkes-Barre schools and retired as Production Manager for Leslie Fay.
He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John McAdarra, Jr. and James McAdarra; and sister, Carol Moyer.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Diane Colarusso McAdarra; sons, George McAdarra Jr. and his spouse Desiree, Kingston; and Anthony McAdarra and his spouse, Lori, Maryland; daughter, Nichole Kotch and her spouse Thomas, Tunkhannock; 6 grandchildren; brother,
Ronald McAdarra and his spouse Sharon, Jenkins Township; sister, Mary McAdarra, Wilkes-Barre; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 9:00am in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston. Those attending are asked to go directly to church Tuesday morning. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
