Geraldine Lucarelli, 84, of Hughestown, passed away at home, Friday, May 12, 2023.
Born in Pittston, on September 18, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Minnie (Tarity) Lucarelli.
She was a graduate of Hughestown High School and had worked in the local garment industry.
Geraldine was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston and the ILGW Union.
She was an avid New York Yankee fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Lucy Bruno, Grace Pupa, Marie Bocolo, Rose Mahalsky and Anna Ferrare.
She is survived by a sister, Jean Ferlick, Avoca; godson and nephew, Lenny Ferlick, Avoca; numerous nieces, nephews; neighbors and good friends, whom she was like a second mother to, Ann Marie Webb and Kathy Healey.
The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 5pm-7pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment, Pittston Cemetery.
