Gloria A. Piatnik, 83, formerly of Harding, passed away peacefully Saturday, 02/06/2021.
She was born in Luzerne and the daughter of the late George and Anna Pickarski Stofko. She had worked in the local garment industry for many years before her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Piatnik and brother William David Stofko.
Leaving a legacy of love Gloria’s family and grandchildren were the center of her life, her pride and joy.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna Lynn Bohn, Maryland and son, J. Todd Piatnik (Sandy), Bethel, CT; grandchildren, Cassandra, Shane, Nicholas, Joey, and Jared; brothers, George Stofko (Peggy), Harding; John Stofko (Alice Ann) Tunkhannock; and Gerald Stofko (Katie) Exeter; numerous nieces and nephews. She was fortunate and thrilled to learn in her final
days that she would be a great Grandmother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 12, 2021 at 9:30am in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston with interment in Mountain View Burial Park, Harding.Observance of CDC guidelines including wearing a face covering and maintaining social distance will be followed.Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
