Gloria Carmel Misukiewicz, 98, of Monticello NY and formerly of Jenkins Township, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in New York.
Born in Jenkins Township on June 16, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frederico Micera and Nicoletta Colarusso Micera.
She was a graduate of Jenkins Township high school and in her earlier years was a tap dancer for the Tony Grant Reveue, Atlantic City, NJ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Misukiewicz; sisters, Elizabeth Lupas, Alice Mecadon, Ann Mitchell, Della Mitchell, and Mary Stuccio.
Surviving are son, Claude Michael Misukiewicz and a nephew, Fred Mecadon, Exeter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
