Gloria Vullo

Gloria Vullo, 94, of West Pittston, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Wesley Village Nursing Home.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Carmella Ardoline Nardone. Gloria was a graduate of Pittston High School.

She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be truly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Clementine Sola and Margaret Aritz, brother, Patrick Nardone and son-in-law, Marty Pleban.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Louis Vullo, and their children; Carmella Garzella and husband Michael, Gloria Pleban, and Joseph Vullo and wife Cynthia. She is survived by her grandchildren Lynn Lundy and husband Joseph, Jamie Goodrick and husband Liam, Lane Sincavage and husband Chris, Gloria Puchowitz and husband Ben, Adriana Vullo and Louis Vullo. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and her sister, Florence Gelso, 101 years old.

The family would like to thank Wesley Village Nursing Home and its entire staff for their wonderful and compassionate care. The family would also like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church, Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave, West Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
