James D. DeGraba, 64 of Exeter, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Allied Services Hospice Center, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on January 2, 1962, he was the son of the late Dominic DeGraba and Clara Zurla DeGraba. Jimmy was a lifelong Exeter resident and a graduate of Wyoming Area High School.

He was employed by Independent Graphics in Wyoming for more than 40 years, where he was a dedicated and dependable presence. Jimmy was truly valued by his coworkers, who became like family to him. He will be greatly missed for his kindness and steady nature.

Jimmy was a genuine and trusting friend to all. A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Orioles, and Penn State, Jimmy supported his teams with unwavering loyalty regardless of the standings. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course whenever he could. Jimmy was also a proud member of the Moose Lodge #1207 in West Pittston, where he enjoyed the fellowship of his fellow members.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 31 years, Cynthia “Cindy” Brozena DeGraba, in 2024. While his passing leaves a deep void, his family finds comfort in knowing Jimmy has now been reunited with Cindy, whose loss he felt so deeply.

Jimmy is survived by his brother-in-law, Stanley Brozena, Jr., Larskville and sisters-in-law, Denny Brozena, Larksville and Rose Yekel and her husband Dave, Wilkes-Barre and his favorite niece, Megan Yekel and her fiancé Adam Kasmark, and his loving cousins. As well as many friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, April 25th from 11AM-1PM followed by a blessing service at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC 251 William St., Pittston.

Private interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
