Janice Quinn Burge, 71, formerly of the Junction Section of Pittston, passed away Thursday February 13, 2020 at Hampton House , Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Pittston on October 31, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Arline Stull Quinn.
Janice was raised in Pittston and attended Pittston High School. She worked in the local garment industry and belonged to the ILGW Union. Her last employment was with Maui cup.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Karan and Regina (Gina); grandson Johnathan James (JJ) Burge; sister and brother-in-law Carolin and John (Shorty) Platukus; sister-in-law Sandy Quinn; and former husband Robert F. Burge.
Surviving are her son with whom she lived, Robert Anthony Burge; three grandsons, Erik, Tyler, and David; four brothers Leonard Quinn, Alan Quinn and his wife Toni, Ronald Quinn and his wife, Bev, and Kenneth Quinn; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Private interment will be held in Pittston Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
So sorry to hear of the passing of my friend, Janice. She will be deeply missed. We used to have so much fun together...rest easy, friend.
