She was a loving mother to her daughter, Cara Jo Castellino Barrow, and her husband, Matthew, of Philadelphia; her cousins, Dr. Deborah Anzalone and Dr. Angelo Anzalone whom she considered to be her siblings; brother-in-law, Frank Castellino and his wife, Diane, West Wyoming; niece Helena; nephew Peter; stepmother Elenor Seneski, stepbrother David Vernouski and fiancé Paige; niece Jessica; nephew David Jr. and many cousins and friends.

JoAnn was an elegant force and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished, and her legacy of kindness, warmth, compassion, and service will live on.

The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4pm-7pm in the Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.

A lifelong thespian and performer, JoAnn would appreciate a donation in her name to the Little Theater of Wilkes-Barre https://ltwb.org/donate/, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
