John W. (Jack) Delaney, Jr., 78, formerly of Pittston, passed away Friday evening November 28, 2025 at home.
Born in Pittston he was the son of the late John W. Delaney, Sr. and Catherine Horan Delaney. He was a graduate of Pittston High School.
Jack served in the US Army Reserves and was a self-employed contractor. In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and golfing.
He is survived by his son, Jack Delaney, West Pittston, and daughter, Shannon Graham (Bruce), Dallas, and grandchildren; Scarlet Delaney, Bruce Graham, Jr. and Benjamin Graham. He is also survived by his longtime companion Joann David, and his sisters; Cathy Branley, Kingston, Pat Price (Marty), Plains, and Diane Carey, Pittston and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Jack’s request, funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC – Pittston.
Deepest sympathies to Jack's family. He was always fun to be around on the golf course. We will miss him.
