A lifelong sports enthusiast, Joe was a diehard Philadelphia sports fan who never missed a chance to cheer on his beloved Eagles and Phillies. Whether it was watching a big game, playing a round of golf, or encouraging his children on the field, sports were a constant source of pride and joy in his life.

Joe was an avid golfer who spent his youth at Fox Hill Country Club as a caddie and later, a member of Emanon Country Club, where his proudest achievement was earning the title of Club Champion. Community minded, he formerly served as Fire Chief with the West Pittston Fire Department. He also dedicated his time to the West Pittston Little League, where he had the joy of coaching his boys.

Professionally, Joe spent his career in sales, working for various candy companies, and became affectionately known as “The Candyman” to many who knew him. Above all, Joe will be remembered as a loving husband and father, whose greatest joy was his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Jumper, his father-in-law, Joseph Curley, and his brother-in-law, Kevin Curley.

Joe is survived by his wife, Colleen Curley Jumper, and their sons, Kevin and Owen Jumper. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Curley, sisters-in-law Lynn Jumper and Kathleen (David) Juza, brother-in-law, Joseph (Cari) Curley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
