Joseph Michael Hopkins, 83, of Wyoming, passed away June 4, 2022, in Wesley Village, Jenkins Township.
Born in Pittston on October 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Joseph and Julia McGrath Hopkins.
After high school, he served in the US Marine Corp and attended Kings College and the University of Scranton. He had worked as a computer programmer for IBM prior to retirement.
He is survived by a sister, Noreen Kelly, niece,
Eileen Frank, and nephew, Michael Kelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 9:30am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston. Interment, parish cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
