Kathleen K. Rubino

Kathleen K. Rubino, 64, of Pittston, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022, in Allied Services Hospice, Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on November 22, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Edna Campbell Barrett.


She was a graduate of Coughlin High School, and had worked as a Manager in the Hospitality industry.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Barrett.


Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Anthony A. Rubino; children, Jill O’Brien Exeter; Tina Marie Brown (Jason), Pittston; Anthony Rubino (Amy), Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Reed Brown, Harper Grace Brown, and Alexandria Marie Rubino, whom “Gammie” loved very much; brothers, William Barrett (Betty Jane), Wilkes-Barre and Patrick Barrett (Lisa), Wilkes-Barre; mother-in-law, Josephine Rubino, Old Boston; brother-in-law, TJ Rubino (Krista), Pittston; sisters-in-law, Ann Marie Angelcola, Shavertown; Christina Rubino (Bill Medico), Florida; Joann Notaro (Mark), Hazleton, and Mary Jo Marichich (Walter), Pittston; numerous nieces and nephews; and her longtime best girlfriends, Karen, Dodie, Vicky, Diane, and KU.


Special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Geisinger and Allied Hospice, especially her niece, Lauren Lewis, RN for the loving care and concern she gave to Aunt Kathy.


A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
