Kevin Mark Gardner, formerly of Pittston Township, born on July 7, 1964, lived life in the fast lane.

Kevin never met an engine he didn’t admire. Cars, airplanes, boats, scooters, drones; if it moved fast and made noise, he was all in. A true car nut, Kevin could talk horsepower, torque, and speed with anyone willing to listen (and even those who weren’t).

Kevin’s sense of humor was just as legendary as his need for speed. He was a natural jokester, always ready with a quick comeback, a playful tease, or a perfectly timed one-liner. He loved to make people laugh and rarely missed an opportunity to stir things up just enough to keep everyone smiling.

To his family, he was the cool dad; the kind who showed up, showed out, and made life interesting. He passed down his love of speed, gadgets, and adventure, always encouraging curiosity and fun. He was also the kind of man who would help anyone who needed it, whether fixing a car, offering advice, or simply showing up when it mattered most.

Kevin leaves behind a legacy of laughter. He reminded everyone around him to enjoy the ride, laugh often, and never be afraid to go a little faster than necessary.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Lisa A. Gardner; children, Shelby F. Gardner and her fiancé, Michael Barney and Jacob M. Gardner and  girlfriend Lexi Felinski, mother, Patricia Gardner, brothers, Donald Gardner and his wife Lori and James Gardner and his wife Donna, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Lorraine Haduck and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Gardner in 2023, as well as aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10am-11am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

My deepest condolences to the family. What a lovely obituary. That was him to a T. Always laughing always smiling and always cracking jokes. He was very quick-witted I remember him when we were in our teenage years and into our late twenties and thirties. We lost touch after that and it's so sad that he had to go. Rest in peace buddy.
