Laura Lazevnick
Laura Lazevnick, 81, of the Sebastopol section of Jenkins Twp., passed away on October 7, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family.
Born on October 13, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Dolores Kelly Rowan. Laura was a graduate of Jenkins Twp. High School. She worked as an Office Manager for many years at K-Mart and later as an administrative clerk at N.E. Pennsylvania Salvage Co.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Marsha Rowan.
Laura is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bernard Lazevnick; daughter, Carey Lazevnick, Pittston; son, Chris Lazevnick (Kristin), Yatesville; and granddaughter, Rowan Lazevnick. As well as her brothers, Patrick Rowan (Karen), Jay Rowan, and Bobby Rowan (Linda), all of Jenkins Twp., and sister-in-law, Betty Lazevnick, NJ, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11 AM at Communion of Saints Parish, St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 9 AM until time of mass in the church on Saturday.
Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
