Leslie Jean Homschek, 67 of Harveys lake, formerly of Pittston, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after a hard-fought battle with illness.

Born in Pittston on December 11, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Arnold A. “Arnie” Homschek and Rose Marie Jackson Homschek. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1976.
Leslie was a graduate of Jerrytone Beauty School and always kept her license active. She had worked at Techneglas and most recently as a teller at the Old Forge Bank. She loved crafting, yard sales, and spending time with her cat Jade. Leslie was the secretary for the Lug Nuts of WVPA car club and enjoyed her classic 1980 Corvette.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice Monahan, Harveys Lake, brothers; Keith “Ubsy” Homschek and wife Jessica, Hanover and James A. Homschek and wife Mary Ellen, Pittston. She is also survived by niece and nephews that were like her children; Lindsey Gyle and husband Gene, James A. Homschek, Jr., Keith Homschek, Jr. and wife Katie, Jeffrey Homschek and wife Clara, Jeremy Homschek, and Jason Homschek, great niece and great nephews; Josie, Oliver and Cooper and many loving cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4-7PM at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Deeply sorry to hear this loss for friends, family and husband Maurice. It was a pleasure caring for Leslie. Very sad to hear this. May she always rest in peace.
