Lillian Rose Murphy, 80, of Jenkins Township, formerly of Yatesville, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Born in Pittston on January 9, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Natzeo and Lillian Cheickeletti Tozzi.
Her greatest joy was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Murphy, Jr. and daughter, Doreen Murphy.
Surviving are her daughter, Jackie Horton and her husband, Wes, of Jenkins Township; and her son, John A. Murphy, III and his wife, Alaynna, of West Pittston; grandchildren; sisters; a brother and sister-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Lillian’s wishes, funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
Lil was one of the warmest and sweetest ladies I've ever met. God bless you all in your sadness. May you find comfort in her return to God and both Doreen and John.
