Lucille Mary Arnone, 82, of West Pittston, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022.
Born in Pittston on August 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Grabosky Lasky.
Lucille was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School, Pittston. She had worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry until her retirement in 1986.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt; she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip “Sam” Arnone in 1990 and son, Samuel J. Arnone in 1987, 5 brothers and 7 sisters.
Surviving are her son, Andrew Arnone, grandson, Michael Arnone, and great granddaughter, Olivia Arnone; as well as nieces, nephews, and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 10am in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9am-10am.Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Duryea. The family requests those attending the visitation and mass kindly wear a face mask. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
