Lynda Marie Ardo

Lynda Marie Ardo, 64, of Pittston Twp., passed away Thursday February 22, 2024, at Regional Hospital of Scranton.


Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Eleanor Lawrisky Sliwoski, of Old Forge and the late Henry Sliwoski. 

 

Lynda was graduate of West Scranton High School.  She received an associate’s degree in Accounting from Lackawanna College.  She spent her career in accounting; having worked at L.A. Lewis, Scranton. 

 

She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston.

 

Lynda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. 

 

Surviving in addition to her mother, are her loving and devoted husband Carmen Ardo, Pittston Twp, daughter, Alysia Verrill and her husband Kyle, Archbald; grandchildren; Alyvia Harper Verrill and Kayden James Verrill; sister, Debbie Kitcho and her husband Joseph, Avoca; sisters-in-law, Janet Bulger and husband, James, Dallas, PA and Ann Bender and husband, Joseph, Aubrey, TX; aunts, an uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

Special thank you to Dr. Kenneth Lilik for the compassionate care and support he provided.

 

Private visitation will be held with a blessing service by Fr. Paul McDonnell.  Private interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. 


Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959.
