Marie Just Mancia, 82, of Pittston, passed away October 20, 2022, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Born in Yatesville on March 23, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Capone Just.
Marie was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School, the University of Scranton and Marywood University. She was employed as a teacher for the Scranton School District for 42 years. Her passion was cooking, baking and gardening. She was a world traveler; having traveled to many countries. She was a devoted and loving mother and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Armand Mancia in 2008; and sister, Connie Just.
Surviving are her sons, Anthony Mancia and
fiancé Nicole Hudachek, Portland, OR and Joseph Mancia, Pittston as well as numerous cousins.
Arrangements were private with interment in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
