Marie T. Fearick, 69, of Laflin, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston on April 12, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. and Marian T. Brown Fearick.
Marie was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School, class of 1971; College Misericordia, class of 1975; and Drexel University where she received a Masters Degree.
Marie had worked for Bank of America, retiring in November of 2007.
She was an active member of St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin where she was an extraordinary minister of communion and a member of the rosary group. She was also active with the Laflin Library. She enjoyed traveling with friends and she was generous to several charitable organizations, especially St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Fearick, Jr. and an infant sister, Mary Fearick.
Surviving is her brother, James Fearick and his wife Marian, Exeter; cousins and many friends.
The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 4pm-7pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 24, 2023, at 10am in St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin. The Parish Rosary Group will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary in the Church 30 minutes before the Mass. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church Friday morning. Interment, St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.
