Mark C. Donahue, 66, of Pittston, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 8, 2021.

Born and raised in Pittston, Mark was the son of the late Ann O’Boyle Donahue and Charles Donahue.


He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and served in the US Navy.


He was employed for John P. Halliday, Ashley, as a driver.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sean Donahue.


Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Carol Zabielski Donahue; step-son, Mark Lacomis, Pittston; brother, Kevin Donahue and his wife Rose, NJ; sister Colleen Reed and her husband Dave, Wyoming; brother-in-law Stanley Zabielski and his wife Denise, Taylor; a nephew; numerous nieces and cousins; and his dog and buddy, Harley.


A walk-through visitation will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021, from 3:00pm-7:00pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.CDC guidelines of wearing a face covering and maintaining social distance will be followed. A blessing service will take place at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, or to a veterans home.
