Martin Luther Everhart, 76, of Dupont, formerly of Dallas, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, in Allied Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on October 14, 1947, he was the son of the late Thomas Sheldon Everhart and Sarah Ann Wolfe Everhart.
He was a graduate of Meyers High School and Luzerne County Community College. He served in the U.S. Navy. Prior to retirement, he had worked as a manager for Weis Market. He was a SALM for the Lutheran Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sheldon Everhart and a sister, Sandra Everhart Jumper.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Cheryl Spaide Everhart; daughter, Jennifer Everhart, Dupont; son, Charles Marti Everhart (Sarah), Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Aaron, Hailey, Houston, Madeline, Grace Marie, Lilly Rose, Joseph Louis, and Theresa Catherine; brother, Leonard Everhart (Darlene), Larksville; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Everhart, Hanover Township; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 11:00am in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Dallas. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
