He is also survived by his aunt, Marian McNevin and her husband John, of Spotsylvania, VA and uncle and Godfather, Paul Johnson and his wife Gail, of Leland, NC, Godmother Janet Serino and her husband John, of Harding and numerous cousins.

His Mother would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Edenbrook for the excellent care that they provided Michael with for the last two difficult months of his life. Their compassion and emotional support helped his Mother stay strong during this difficult time. She would also like to thank family and friends for their presence and support, especially Anne, Gina, Michelle, Chaz and especially her cousin, Joe Lello.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at the convenience of his loved ones.
