Michael K. Dillon, 59, of Old Forge, passed away Monday August 12, 2024, in Geisinger CMC, Scranton.
Born in Yonkers, New York he was the son of the late William Dillon and Sophie Ann Charge Kapica, Fishkill, NY.
Mike was a graduate of Lincoln High School and worked as a meat cutter in the restaurant supply industry.
The family would like to thank Allied Home Health, Allied Hospice Care, and all the doctors and nurses at Geisinger CMC for all their care they gave Michael. A special thank you to cousin Rita Panunti, her husband Dave Panunti, Aunt Dorothy Lee Charge Green and Scott Green for all their support and love they gave Michael through such a difficult time.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister Theresa Dillon.
Along with his mother, Mike is survived by his siblings, Lorie Esposito and husband Vincent, Fishkill NY and Leo Kapica and wife Darlene, Ossining NY, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday August 20, 2024, at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Pariah, 237 William Street, Pittston. Interment at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC Pittston.
