Patrick Francis Smalley

Patrick Francis Smalley, 74, of Pittston passed away Monday April 28, 2025 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Pittston he was a son of the late Edgar and Catherine Bannon Smalley.

Pat was a graduate of St. John’s High School class of 1968. He had worked at DisKay, Pittston, Fashion Bug at the Wyoming Valley Mall and retired from Pride Mobility. For many years he coached the West Pittston Rams youth football teams, he enjoyed WrestleMania and was an expert at all types of claw machines.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant brother John and his brother-in-law Roy Speece.

 He is survived by his sisters; Mary Ann Speece, West Pittston and Winifred Serfass and husband Greg, West Pittston, and brother, Joseph Smalley and wife, Nina, Pittston, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday May 5, 2025 at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist 35 William St. Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9AM till time of mass in the church.
