Regina C. Polacheck, 80, of Exeter, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, February 3, 2022, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Agnes
Prevuznak.
Regina was a graduate of Coughlin High School. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt and will be truly missed. Her family was everything to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Thomas D. Polacheck; children, Karen (Joseph), Harding; Thomas (Cheryl), West Wyoming; Joan (Michael), Hampton, NJ; Stephen (Tracy), Reading; and Susan (Mark),
Clinton, NJ; grandchildren, Diane, Joseph, Matthew, Rachel, Jessica, Haley, Alexa, Stephen, Jonathan and Frances; great grandchildren, Eames and Elijah; brother, Stephen, sister, Monica and sister in law Lorraine, all of Wilkes-Barre; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 8:30am-10am in the Parish of St. Barbara, 28 Memorial Street, Exeter with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am.Interment, St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Cedar Street, Exeter. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
