Mothers hold their children’s hands briefly and their hearts forever. There are many women in the world, but she far surpassed them. I will now hold her in my heart forever. She told me a few days ago that she was going on to better days and I told her that was okay and I’ll catch up to her. I’ll miss her quick wit and smile and cherish the lessons and wisdom she gave to me.
