Rosemarie (Sugar) Noga

Sugar (as she was known to just about everyone) passed away suddenly at the age of 91 at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Avondale, AZ on October 13, 2021.

Sugar was born February 20, 1930, to the late Joe and Mary Sabella in Frackville. She was married to William (Billy, Herby) Noga who preceded her in death in 1971.

Sugar is survived by her only “biological” daughter Denise and her husband Joe Johnson who have lived in many states through their married life, but have resided in Arizona for about the last 25 years. Also surviving are 3 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sugar’s house was where all Denise’s friends hung out thereby having many “non-biological” kids. She was always there for you to share what’s on your mind. When Denise was asked what it was like to be an only child, her reply would be I don’t know, I’m never alone. That’s who Sugar was. If you asked her something, prepare yourself because it may not be the answer you were looking for.

Sugar was very special, fun, and a wonderful lady who will be tremendously missed.

Finally, as she would say, “toot-a-loo” until we meet again.

A Blessing Service and interment will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 11:00am in Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 49 S. Hunter Hwy, Drums. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
