Sandra Ann (Morgan) DePietro of Newton Township, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Geisinger CMC from COPD.

Sandra was 67 years young.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas, in which she filled that unbearable hole in his heart, the couple would have celebrated their 32nd anniversary on December 31st. Also surviving, her twin brother, Paul Morgan of Plains, sister, Lisa Morgan of Kingston, sisters-in-law; Margaret Collins of Scranton, and Liz Purcell and her husband Frank of Scranton. Many cousins, nieces and nephews, who will all miss her presence.
Born in Pittston on April 17, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Paul C. Morgan and Ruth (Casterlin) Morgan, a graduate of Pittston Area Class of 1976, she attended Keystone College and Luzerne County Community College for business. Her career started at Hasting Bros. as an account executive, winning a round trip to Hawaii for top sales. She received awards and incentives from Salon Concepts and Jamar, then managed Fashion Bug stores in Pittston and Mount Pocono. She excelled at training and motivating staff while creating a pleasant working environment. She was self-motivated, company oriented and a “team player”. Her true love was working within the beauty industry.
She admired the Big Sister Program, volunteering at Saint Francis of Assisi Kitchen, enjoyed exploring her creativity with arts and crafts projects, collecting albums, painting flowers in the rock garden, her parrots Pierre, Paco (deceased) and Picasso, her standard poodles Layla (deceased) and Lacey, and kicking everybody’s ass in shuffleboard. She also took great pleasure in hosting terrific parties for absolutely any occasion.
Born and blessed with a warmhearted nature and gentle soul that simply connects to her legacy and faith.
She was preceded in death by her cherished step-son Lee DePietro.

Per Sandra’s wishes services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC- Pittston.
