Sharon Ann Montagna-Newman, 75, of Pittston, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022, at home.
Born in Hughestown on January 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Evelyn Armitage Hall.
She was a graduate of Hughestown High School.
Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by husbands, Wayne Quick, Sr., Michael Montagna, and Brian Newman; grandson, Joseph Boyko and sister, Rosemary Kaspriski.
Surviving are children, Wayne Quick, Jr., Hughestown, Kelly Boyko, Pittston, Colleen Kovaleski (Ric), Georgia, Scott Quick (Brenda), Dupont, and Amy Calabro, Pittston; grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Shaun,
Amanda, Kyle, Ian, Ricky, Madyson, Scott Jr., and Dale; great-grandsons, Brayden and Nash; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 5-7pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 25 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment, Pittston Cemetery.
