Teresa Lynn Mawson, 68, of Hughestown, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit, Dunmore.
Born in Trenton, Missouri, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Sherwood Namatka and Gerald Namatka, Florida.
She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School. She retired from Valley Crest as a nurses aide and then worked for Bayada Nursing in home health.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Ronald Mawson; children, Jennifer Babkowski, Avoca; Joseph Babkowski, Avoca; Ronald Mawson Jr. (Annie), Dupont; and Tammy Mawson, Wyoming; grandchildren, Courtney Sadowski (Matt), TN; Landon Wheeler and Paige Wheeler; sisters, Cathy Mullen, Hazleton and Debra Sue Pitts-Smith, Florida; brother, James David King, CA; and sister-in-law, Georgiann Novak, Exeter.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
