Theresa Santoro

Theresa Santoro, 60, of Pittston, passed away Wednesday July 31, 2024 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley, after a brief illness.


Born in Pittston she was the daughter of the late John P. Corridoni, Jr. and Marianne Limongelli Corridoni.


Theresa was a graduate of Pittston Area High School.


She had worked as a teacher aid, helping students with special needs. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Marello Parish. Theresa loved to garden and was an excellent cook, she had great love for her many dogs she had over the years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be truly missed by all who knew her, including her many friends.


Theresa is survived by her husband, Christopher Santoro, Pittston, daughter, Oleivia Santoro (Robert), West Pittston, sons; Cory Santoro (Rachel), Olyphant and Christopher Santoro, Clarks Summit and grandchildren; Russell, Lena, Carmella, Angelo, and Sophia.


Also surviving, her siblings; sisters, Lisa Falzone (Will), North Carolina, Gabriella Corridoni, Pittston, Giovanna Martosella (Jay), Philadelphia and brothers, John P. Corridoni, III (Debra), Florida, Nick Corridoni (Maureen), Pittston, Jim Corridoni, Pittston, Matt Corridoni, Florida. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.


The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday August 4, 2024 from 4-7pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC 251 William Street Pittston. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday August 5, 2024 at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish 237 William Street, Pittston, funeral services will begin at 9am at the funeral home.

Our hearts are with the family at this most heartbreaking time, Theresa is truly a special lady who had no idea the impact she could make on a person, I will miss my texting buddy so much but her kindness will never fade my heart. God Bless and comfort Chris, her family and Rocco & Brando !
