Thomas F. McNamara, 90, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 9, 1933 in Williamstown, Pa., the son of Thomas Vincent McNamara and Rose Kavanagh McNamara.
Thomas graduated from Williamstown Catholic School in 1950 and then enlisted in the Air Force and was promoted to A/1c. Tom studied Computer Programming and worked for several Companies before joining NCR in 1966. Tom married Theresa DePasquale in 1970. He was promoted to NCR District Manager in Greensboro, N.C. and then worked for Creighton Shirt Co. until retirement.
He was a member of the Parish of St. Barbara, Exeter.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by sisters, Kathryn Tallon, Rosalie Lenker, Mary Bettinger, Patricia Kelly and brother, Vincent McNamara.
Tom is survived by his wife, Theresa, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 9:30am to 10:30am in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am in the Parish of Saint Barbara, 28 Memorial St., Exeter, Pa. Interment, Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
