Tina Gelsomini Dominick, of Laflin, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on February 7, 2026.

Tina was born on January 7, 1936 to the late Adelaide (Centini) Gelsomini and Rinaldo Gelsomini. She was raised in the Keystone section of Plains Township and was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, and the Wilkes-Barre Business College. Tina was a member of St. Maria Gorretti Church in Laflin.

Tina and her husband lived and worked in New York, California, and New Jersey. For the majority of her secretarial career, she was employed at Greenwald Berk Insurance of Pennsylvania. Tina enjoyed reading, cooking, and entertaining at her home.

Tina is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Dominick. They were happily married for 57 years. Tina was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Lea and her husband, Vincent Nordstrom, CA, and Marla and her husband, Gary White, PA; her adored grandchildren Kelsey Nordstrom-Sanchez (Ricky) and Alexander Nordstrom, CA. She is preceded in death by her brother Tullio and survived by her sister in law Iole and nephew Silvio Gelsomini.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Kevin Musto and Pathways Hospice for its kindness and compassionate care for Tina and providing comfort for the family. Her daughter Marla lovingly took care of Tina for many years at home.

Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Saint Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin, on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

The family will receive friends and relatives in the church from 9:00 AM until the time of mass.
Â
The Parish Rosary Group of Saint Maria Goretti Church will recite the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet at 9:30 AM, in the church.
 Â
Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Â
Contributions, if desired, may be made in Tina’s memory to St. Maria Goretti Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC- Pittston.
