William D. Jenkins, 59, of West Pittston, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born on November 5, 1962, William was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1980, and a graduate of Wilkes University with a Bachelor of Music. He was employed as a Center Standards and Incentives Supervisor for Keystone Job Corps, Drums.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, Millie Jenkins, are his wife of 10 years, Diana Mirro Jenkins; daughter, Maria Mishanski (Jay Simyan), Throop; grandson, Lucas Tiru; brother, Wayne Jenkins (fiancé, Brandy Astacio), Pittston; nieces, Brianna Jenkins and Miranda Jenkins; and nephew, Aiden Jenkins.
William was a lover of music, having been a DJ in the area for many years. He loved to ride on his Harley Davidson with his devoted wife and go on many adventures with his brother and fiancé. He went camping every year and enjoyed the seclusion in the woods and getting away from it all, even if it was a short while. He went wine tasting often to find the flavors that he loved the best and was fond of playing pool and shooting guns with his brother.
He was a natural born teacher and positively touched the lives that he came across every day. Words cannot say how deeply he will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, December 10, 2021, from2pm-4pm in Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston.
