It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen C. D’Elia, RN, 79, of Hughestown. She passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.  A lifelong resident of Hughestown, Ellen was born on July 1, 1946 to Raymond F. Ward and Miriam Davis Ward. She graduated from St. Ann’s Academy, Wilkes-Barre in 1964 and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Wilkes-Barre in 1967. She worked as an ICU supervisor
