Donald L. Brunges, Jr.

Donald L. Brunges, Jr., 75, of Centermoreland, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in Wilkes Barre General Hospital.

Born in Meshoppen, on August 14, 1950, he was the son of the late Donald L Brunges, Sr. and Grace (Dymond) Brunges.

He attended West Side Vo-Tech and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Jacoby Excavating. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Brunges and his son, Donald L. Brunges, III.

Surviving is his wife, Martha (Keithline) Brunges; daughter, Kathy Brunges, Dallas, son, Gregg Brunges (Mima), Suscon; sister, Janet (Brunges) Newman. 

The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9am to 10am in the Back Mountain Harvest Assembly Church, 340 Carverton Road, Trucksville.  Services will begin at 10am and will be officiated Pastor Ray Petts and Pastor Jack Rehill.
