Judith “Judy” Waters passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 21, 2018 in Parker, Colorado at the age of 78. Judy is survived by her daughter and son in law, Virginia “Ginny” Waters and Michael Aitkin. She is preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Waters. Judy was born in Sydney, Australia to Noel and Hazel Quinn. She made her way from Australia to Canada briefly and then to Washington, D.C. where she worked for the Australian Embassy until meeting and marrying

After a brave battle with esophageal cancer, John “Jack” Waters departed this world on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017. Jack was born in Hughestown on Sept. 11, 1936 to the late Helen Rita Dougher and John Joseph Waters. He graduated from Hughestown High School in 1954 and continued his education at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree. He then moved to New York where he worked and attended graduate school at NYU. From New York, he moved to Baltimo
